The play is based on a reinterpretation of the text “Pre Paradise sorry now” by German director and playwright Rainer Werner Fassbinder and analyzes the relationship of dependence and power between a man and a woman. Exaltation, mythomania, and narcissism are his characteristics that lead her, apparently a good girl, to become submissive and complicit, to the point of transforming them into one of the most famous serial killer couples in history. The roots of their violence lie in post-war history; poverty gives rise to the need to adhere to Nazism, which the two profess and for which they kill. From populism. From the need for revenge. While in Pasolini's work revenge comes through the defeat and transformation of the suburban youth, in Fassbinder's work violence becomes the only means of self-affirmation in a world that is evolving too quickly, wanting to forget the chilling recent history of Nazism.
