A.A.Agata cerca lavoro is a grotesque, feminist comedy. It tells the story of an enterprising, intelligent, and capable 25-year-old woman who, despite her education and qualifications, is unable to find work. In her desperate search for employment, Agata finds herself facing unlikely situations, which lead her to confront the different types of violence that a young woman can suffer in today's Western world. The girl's only ally is her mother, who pushes her to accept any compromise in order to achieve her goal. The text is harsh and biting comedy, which through excesses and paradoxes offers a dramatically lucid mirror of contemporary society, marked by machismo and rampant precariousness, in which even religion is completely emptied of meaning, remaining only a tool at the service of the production-labor machine.
