“Goose” is a tragicomic show inspired by the Game of the Goose, which provides an apt metaphor for describing the tortuous path of man. The research project therefore aims to address the critical issues that man faces during his life journey, showing the key moments of each character, critical moments that we all go through. We must grow, earn, fulfill ourselves, relate to others, know how to choose, contribute, and then die. How does the human being behave in these situations? To recount this ‘up and down’ between loss and conquest, La Cavalcade en Scène has chosen and handcrafted expressive larval masks. Covering the entire face, the masks naturally lead to a wordless, very physical and poetic performance, making Goose a silent show capable of breaking down language barriers. The larval masks were accompanied by expressive masks and a (rather surreal) presenter who is neither a mask nor a man. His name is Mr. Kraft, and he is still unclear as to why he ended up in this situation. Roll your dice with us and remember: when there is a prankster God playing dice with the universe, man plays dice with his own existence. Misery or miracle?
